The 1949 vent windows and seals are very similar to the 1950-51 versions, but the pivot designs are different. The 1949 assembly uses a riveted pivot, while the 1950–51 assembly uses a cast-metal male stud that engages a chromed cast-metal female pivot on the vent glass frame.
